Anyone else really disappointed with 3.05 ast changes?

I am sure this forum needs more threads about this.

And yes, AST clearly needs more than this to be on par with other healers, just because it seems most of the people who play it are so bad they need to be OP just to actually be "on par".

Yoshida pls buff AST more.

We already have enough posts on this. Do I want a tad bit more buffs? Yea (MOTHER EFFING NOC SECT D:<) but, I'm content with this for now. At least until the data for Savage drops and they buff all class accordingly, rather than breaking the classes before the raid. But, I'm probably the minority on this opinion.

All you do is freaking complain. Go level an AST (I see you're still sat at 30), THEN come and give a constructive opinion. Go and heal Neverreap as an AST in the bare minimum ilvl, only then will you be taken somewhat seriously, as at the moment, I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees your name and know without even looking that it's a complaint thread.

I like the buffs but I wish they had changed Noct and Celestial Opposition as well.

Agreed. I'm sorry, but complaints from people like this that have never even leveled the job are worth squat in my book. But, you're right, almost every thread from the OP is a whine thread.

It isn't that I need to level the job, it's the fact that when I am healing and paired with an astrologian 95% of the time I have to outright carry them and it is ridiculous. The class needs much stronger buffs if they are to compete with a WHM, at present whenever I am paired with a WHM the run goes so smoothly that people actually compliment in chat (which we all know is rare) once the run has concluded.

Pair me with an AST? All of a sudden people are dying and I am going oom and it's a nightmare where I am spamming succor cause I just had to blow indominability and emergency tactics succor after throwing out 9 revives.

And no it isn't because I don't know what I am doing, I have solo healed RavEX and BisEX multiple times. In fact the RavEX run that dropped my codex is just one run I did. With an AST I find myself just as taxed, if not moreso because I assume I can rely on them to support my heals and instead I am horrifically mistaken and boom multiple 2.5k mana hits from reviving people.

I don't need to level an AST to know they need buffs. They NEED buffs. I literally groan and want to just leave a party if I see I'm with an AST.

I agree on the above, any time I get put in a party and I'm with an AST it's like ugh, looks like I'm basically solo healing.

Still doesn't mean much coming from you. You're the same person who was in tears wanting to quit the game because you didn't get your aiming chest from WOD while playing as a healer.

Regardless, I guarantee if you were paired with me, you wouldn't do any such "carrying." And quite honestly, if DPS are dying so much, maybe you need to look at the DPS who aren't doing what they should be by, ya know, dodging things.

As I said I have seen some good AST, I did leave 5% cause sometimes I am really impressed. But the other 95% is terrible.

And I do look at the DPS... and yes sometimes they need a lot of .. assistance.
