Additional Job Additions Idea

So after seeing how they set the new jobs i could easily forsee an addition of dual classes.
We already have the DRK that is a DPS Tank but can only que as a Tank. Maybe someone would rather dps sometime.
So with that i was thinking back to my FF11 days and thought about 2 classes i would live added and would be perfect dual que classes.

The Samurai - a dual weilding Tank or DPS class.

The Red Mage - a ranged caster or caster healer class.

I personally loved the Samurai from FF11 and when the Ninja was added it brought back my fond memories of the Samurai. If it plays close to how it did in 11 i think this could be a really fun job to play.

As for red mage having a strong focus of direct damage spells and some dot links to maximize its eeffect as dps and then for healing i envisioned it using more of a HoT play style that is nothing like what we have in the game right now.

I would love to see Samurai as a DPS class, even though it's not going to be seen for quite some time I look forward to see how they design their gear sets and move sets as well. Zanshin, Third Eye, Meikyo Shisui and the works please :)

Same and I would definitely love to see them add these two classes someday soon. Even though I agree it probably won't be anytime soon lol.

Red mage should be a fencer that uses casts. So, it goes into melee and uses cast bar abilities, could be fun game play. Dancer and blue mage too plz :P. Dancer a melee healer and blue mage whatever just make it awesome sauce (prob dps caster we need more).

Gunblade class anyone? It's possibly hinted at during several scenes with... well. Omitting spoilers. Nonetheless, they do exist.

Stance dancing between ranged/melee? That'd be badass.

There seems to be some nods toward sharlyan geomancy with both one of the texts in the library dungeon and with that elemental fusion bomb in the quest where you fight the Illuminati in the main story.

I would like BLU (not ranged dps caster we have more than enough, especially now that both ranged dex jobs have cast times), Morpher and Chemist healer/support with ZERO focus on dps and instead be pure healer that buffs others dps.

I just hope next DPS job will do blunt damage.

We have 3 tanks.
We have 3 healers
We have 3 close range dps
We have 2 long range physical dps
We have 2 long range magical Dps

What we need is 1 more long range dps for both physical and magical. I think the next class will be another mage, because both BLM and SMN are sort of turrets standing there, immobile, and casting. But a mage with fast spell cast speed, potentially less damage, but more mobility(blink/flash) is what we need.

For ranged physical I would love a "druid", a ranger with a wolf or bear, like SMN has. Not a pseudo summoner as MCH with a turret that stands still.
