I was reading info that when the expansion came out the Summoner was supposed to be able to summon 2 new egi's that being of Ramuh and Levithan. Is that gonna happen, did it happen, will it happen and if so when?

Looks like not happening. Yoshi explained that they felt adding new egis would add to the problem of having a few that won't be used. They decided to focus on the current three, but work on a way to glamour the pet so you can make them look different. When will that be done? Not sure..
The new egis didn't happen, and I'm SO glad they went in the direction they did. The addition of Dreadwyrm trance takes the focus away from pets even more, but the job is still very much enjoyable IMO.
