Duty Finder In Progress.

Okay so, I don't know how Duty Finder works but I personally think it needs some re-work. Specially on when it comes to "In Progress".

I had sad incident last night in Fractal Continuum with my friend, where tank tried to kick new MNK, cause of his low dps and myself too cause I pointed it out to tank to stop it. We decided to kick him cause at that point he started being rude.

Me and my friend asked around if someone could fill in and we had 2 people who tried to join. Neither one could join cause they were both thrown straight into new party and got penalty cause they had to turn them down. And during this time, this tank we kicked joined 3 times to our party. 3 TIMES. For our luck he left but always had something to say to us. After 15-20 mins of waiting we finally got new tank, which wasn't our friend or the tank we kicked.

I've already pointed out before that I wouldn't mind having some sort of penalty if you're being kicked but I don't see that happening cause it can be abused and probably will be.

But what right now I'm asking, is to have something done to Duty Finder that if incidents like this happen and I want my friend to join to fill in, I need to be able to invite him/her to the dungeon. Or when you decide on DF that you only wanna do "In Progress" then you get thrown into parties that are "In Progress". But like I said, I don't know how DF really works but I really would appreaciate if this was even considered.

Yeah, would be nice if, when selecting the "In Progress" option, that when it pops up you can see the party members in that dungeon already so you know if that's the one your friends are in or not. Numerous times my friends needed a healer whether the old healer DC'd or just plain left, but I had a hard time getting into their party because I ended up in someone else's. So it would be nice to have a bit more info on how to go about picking an "In Progress" dungeon.

I really fancy the idea to help people with missing party member, I would really like an exclusive "join in-progress" duty. Only join in-progress and not a new duty.

Please add: Only join an in-progress duty.

Honestly what needs to happen is "Join Duty In Progress" needs to be removed entirely and the in progress and fresh run queues need to be merged to end this problem once and for all. It's sad that, once the tank or healer leaves, and none of your fc mates can help, you either have to wait 30+ minutes or leave and queue again for who knows how long as a dps.

I disagree, that's why I asked for an option "Only join in-progress".. I can't count how many times I joined an in-progress party that needed a tank at final boss in Brayflox Normal, Cutter's Cry, Dzmael Darkhold.. The guys treated me and welcomed my like a heavenly being.. wrap up their boss and voilà you're done! Roulette or whatever in 5 mins while you feel happy that you saved a NEW FULL run for the poor DPSs.

Thats what I thought like a "in progress only" shouldnt work for roulettes though.
