Why does any server need an LGBTQ Linkshell?
What I have discovered over the years is that most of the LGBTQ communities you see in almost every MMO are designed not to segregate players which most people unknowingly assume.
The purpose is to provide a space for people who may feel more comfortable knowing other players that can relate to themselves. There are many people who have never dealt with the persecution, shame, and bigotry that many people of the gay community across the world face on a daily basis. These are the people who can’t always comprehend the need for the existence of these spaces.

Don’t consider joining as means to force you “out of the closet” or you can consider it as taking the first step. Your decision to join is your choice and it is what you make of it that counts. If you consider yourself an LGBTQ ally, there is no shame in the act of supporting people who have been historically shamed because they don’t fit into society’s conformed view of being normal.

What Can “Blue Moon’s Respite” Offer You?
If you’re a part of a small Free Company with friends, Blue Moon’s Respite is still a great place for you to expand your social circle. If you’re without a Free Company or you are a part of large FC and feel lost in the crowd, this linkshell will hopefully become a place for you to feel a greater sense of inclusion among your fellow gaming community.
