A world of adventure and mystery

So i was flying around today and thought to myself why don't they add rare treasure chest or NPC's in some random spots that ppl can only get to by flying or by exploring? by random npc i mean characters form other ff games how cool would it be to run into Squall Leonhart or vincent valentine? and by doing there quest you can get a wep or outfit from that ff universe. And on the chest end of things maybe inside can be a map and when you beat that map you get a mount or pet? and to keep this stuff rare they only spawn for 4 hours a day every Wens and Sat in a random spot in the new zones. Idk just something i fig be fun and keep ppl exploring

Actually, there are things you can only see if you are in the right place at the right time.

NPCs that phase in and out (west coethras, Illdyshire)
Random encounter NPCs (Carbuncles, Miqote Child)
Storyline NPCs at Rowenas
Also a gajillion refrences to be found everywhere in game
