I Like Horses

Dear Square Enix,

I've been playing MMOs for quite some time now, and in this time I've had my fair share of weird and exotic mounts. Elephants, rhinos, cats, bats, dragons, birds, mechanical constructs...

But I always end up using old faithful: the horse. There's just something about a normal horse that appeals to me. Not an elemental horse, or an ethereal horse, or a unicorn or a Pegasus. Just a horse. On second thought, I'd definitely take a Pegasus now that we can fly. But I digress.

Unfortunately, it seems like my only options in this game for a normal horse are to:

1) PvP a lot, which isn't something that I find enjoyable. I went about 0 - 15 over the course of a few days and I just can't see myself ever getting 100 wins.

2) Buy Sleipnir from the Mog Station. $25 is pretty steep for a cash shop mount, but I could see myself paying that much for a mount I really liked. As a Paladin, Sleipnir just doesn't really "fit," so I don't find it worth the price to me, however.

Are there any plans to add more horses to the game? My ideal would be something like the PvP Warhorses skinned to match traditional Paladin colors.

We already have Skittles of every pony, ahem, horse. There's already PvP horses. There's Sleipnir. And there's also the CNJ unicorn. Oh, and don't forget Kirin.


I'm a bit tired of horses...

Ordinary horses would be nice, but I guess the chocobos are the equivalent of that.

I have been saying ever since I first got to fly that I want a pegasus though.

You want even more of these generic things running around?
Suit yourself I guess. I'll always prefer the old goldenrod goose. At least for Final Fantasy.

I just want a regular black or white horse with a saddle and some non nation branded armor.

level a CNJ to 30 and you get the unicorn, sure it has a whatsit but it's the same horse model except in white.

Since horses are from the east I suspect we'll be going that direction to take on the Empire we'll have tons of the things then.

Call me crazy but all these mounts asides the chocobo just seem tacky. *Shrug* Would have prefered a system to customize chocobos instead of riding any clawed/toothed monster we are supposed to fear.
