A Beginner's Guide to PvP?

High all!

With the new PvP map and gear coming out soon, I was curious if there was any sort or guide out there for a beginner like me to be able to use to get into PvP. I understand that currently it's basically dead, so I'm wanting to just read up and get myself ready for when it becomes a thing again soon.

I think I've played maybe a total of 3 matches ever of "Frontlines". Otherwise, I'm a complete newcomer to the PvP scene and would like any and all help I can getting started! I'm also very unclear on the different PvP modes. So if anyone can tell me what would be my best bet as far as which GC I stand the best chance in (currently Adders) and really, just what I need to do to get started, I'd greatly appreciate it!
