Straight to the duty finder.

Square Enix please put content Straight to the duty finder, i don't understand why its necessary to keep content away from the duty finder for a period of time all it is doing is making a poisonous environment / breeding ground for so called elitists to exclude others.

If there are people who enjoy playing in raid statics / a group of 8 friends and want to be elite players that's fine, but putting the content straight to the duty finder does not effect this in the slightest people can still choose to play in fc / premade teams, but it frees your game up for everyone else as well.

Look its not like i have any problem clearing the content or a problem with the party finder, that's not what this is about. This is about the majority and how it would help the game, lets face it gamers are getting older and we have jobs and responsibility a lot of us are becoming more causal, so please square enix wont you please consider that content straight to the duty finder might be a better way to go about releasing content to your consumers. The only content they do not release straight to the duty finder is content that is, at the time, far too difficult for the average DF group. DF content is typically easy enough to do completely blind, as there are only a handful of make or break mechanics that can be explained in a few lines of text. Basically, DF content is standardized to require minimal coordination and communication. Stuff like savage hough? That is (hopefully) being designed to be challenging enough that you will NEED to communicate and plan with a group that works well together. If they were to put it in DF, there would be an uproar of people here complaining about how their groups all yelled at them and ragequit in DF, because most people in DF do not want to communicate or plan at all.

But they need to nerf this content before puting it in duty finder because headless chicken PUG X)

You apparently haven't been paying attention for the past few years. Content that's not open to DF eventually gets released to it. Until that happens, the hardest stuff is groups only because said content requires very precise teamwork and precision and those are elements that the DF always lacks. For every person who keeps saying they don't have time for a static, two more people find a way to work with the limited time they have. Not every piece of content is going to be for casuals and speaking as a casual, I am fine with this. You already have a normal mode of the Alexander raid, which is what people wanted for casual play and is also in the DF.

Get a friend or two, have their friends talk to their friends, and you'll have a group in no time and a group that will be better than some random in a DF.

Who cares? People on these here forums complain about EVERYTHING.
I still haven't played Bismarck or Ravana because of this.

DF is a good way to learn stuff and there are chances that you could clear with a group.
If you guys don't wanna do DF then DON'T do it. I actually done a lot of content via DF. This literally hurts no one.
I can't go to static's and as you see PF's want you to already know the fact. Obviously they can't clear it either.

Primal fights are not what i would call, far too difficult for the average DF group. and In my opinion putting content Straight to the duty finder even if it is too difficult for the average DF group, still in no way hinders the elitists or the game. its still a positive having the option to use the DF to pick up one or two people.

The problem with this topic is that once they do that, the next threads will be people complaining they cannot do the current content with a random pug.
The next step will then be either nerfed content within weeks cause of the non stop whine or an LFR esque system which is another can of worms.
The way it is done now that statics/FC's clear the content and when it comes to duty finder they can add stuff like echo or straight up nerf so the rest can kill it.

While I don't disagree with you, hard content can't be handled via DF, the "for every one person that doesn't.. there are two who do" is quite optimistic, I'm more inclined to believe most people don't raid the truly hard stuff at all or only slighty dabble/try some PF. (for example Coil, especially the later turns, before any nerf)

I'm quite curious though. Will they even put Alexander (Savage) in the Duty Finder at all? Since it does kind of follow a similar trend to the Second Coil (Savage), which by the way is still locked with a 8-man premade in order to queue. Plus, there is a very high chance that there will not be any sort of easing of difficulty to Alexander (Savage) because the story mode exists.

When they nerf the content or think about it, I think the ideas resolve around the DF possibilities. You don't want to overwhelm them with mechanics, also you might want to empower these players to bypass certain mechanic checks. That said, including stuff to DF might require to take a different approach from a design stand-point that might ruin the purpose of that content. When the content is still hard, like Coil when it was released, it required a lot of communication and you'll prefer to get people with the same mindset. In DF you'll find a really wide variety of people and they might not fit your expectations, ruininig your experience as a consequence.

It's not about elitism, knock it off with that! People want to clear the content and they put these requirements because they want to progress/clear that content. You're always free to create your own PF with your own prerequisites. Yeah, it's easier to press one buttom and get in the trial/dungeon/raid, but for that content, with all the stuff other people stated above, it wouldn't work.
