So I just hit 51 on my drk. So far, I feel like they need some adjustments. The 3 new classes are so RNG focused. It is disgusting. We have terrible to management(wtf no Lancer cross class?), mp management is ok, low reward payoff for that. Also to top it off, it feels like we overall always take more damage than the other tanks, with no real upside to the class itself. I love my DRK, however I feel disheartened to play it. Granted I have not taken it to raiding, but I never really hear anything positive about them. All I hear is "people would rather have a war/pld". :(

I've been a DRK since hw launch and raided in current content. Only thing needs adjusting is TP, Grit costing way too much mana, living dead tweak possibly make the first 10s a ward based on %HP and keep the walking dead. Dps seems fine. Survival isn't bad have tanked everything currently. Just need to be smart with CD and soul eater heal. If full vit your soul eater not going to heal much. My tanking progression set up is 2/5 vit rest str I heal myself for 1k plus every time I use soul eater. Also need to play smart use the right tank buster CD dark arts after it hits immediately soul eat... 1k heal plus healers heal you are full hp instant. DRK involves situational awareness than the other tanks imo, you can't just hit any CD it has to be the right one. They aren't bad just need minor adjustments. If they don't change tp should make auto attack hit a bit harder imo. Good luck!

Well, when going with my FC's healers to pretty much all content, they've said that it doesn't feel like I particularly take any more or less damage than the other tanks. Granted, if Dark Mind won't affect anything then we're kind of lacking an extra cooldown or 2, but from what I've seen for myself and other DRKs I'd consider good, ability to take hits isn't really an issue.
