Purchased wrong Ironworks gear with silver feathers from friendship campaign...

Hi all. New here.
So I've been playing for just under 30 days now. I just got my friendship rewards and wanted to use the silver chocobo feathers to get the Ironworks body/legs set and the daggers for my ninja that just hit 50. I got the daggers ok, but I accidentally chose the bard body/leg set instead of the ninja set.

I contacted help desk in-game and put in a ticket with my problem. The first response I received informed me that they couldn't help me because I had used my item recovery token already, which I haven't seeing as this was the first time I've needed to contact help and support.

I replied to them stating this and asked them to review my account, cuz there's always the possibility that I did and just completely forgot about it. The next response said that because I used a trade item instead of currency that they couldn't do anything for me.

My question is, is there anything I CAN do to rectify this mistake. All I'm looking to do is trade the wrong gear for the correct gear, but I feel like I was given a brush off because the two reasons given were so different from each other.
