Requesting Data for Parry RATE (not amount mitigated)
No. I'm not talking about amount mitigated. It's a flat 20% now. We all know :)
I've looked up and down this past week for an inkling of data on the parry rate and found everything from 44 points = 1% increase to every 10 points = 1% increase. I saw Valk's data, but it was a very quick chart from a long time ago and his primary concern was amount mitigated with STR and Shield Block values.
Can anyone help do some data collection so we can have at least a rough estimate of how much the Parry stat is needed for a 1% increase?
Testing method should be simple. Record a large number of hits, document the number parried. Increase Parry rate by X, repeat process. I suggest increments of 10 if possible to keep things neat, but do whatever is easiest for you.
EDIT : Forgot to mention, do a zero additional Parry sample for a baseline.
EDIT #2 : Remember to remove all magic attacks and all DODGEs from your attack count - only physical attacks should count towards the parry rate.
