Optimal rotation for a new DRG

Good morning all,
First of all i have to say that i am too happy for this great game and the great community it has. I am in a great FC now, but all people in general in this game are very kind and helpful.

Ok, my question now:
I am ready to be a DRG soon, i have lvl up Marauder to 15 and Pugilist just to get Internal Release. So, for all experienced DRG out there, what will be an optimal rotation at this stage for me, i mean i am not exactly sure where should i put my ofGCD skills in the rotation.
At the moment i have only the Full Trust combo, Impulse Drive and Cross Skills, like Bloodbath, Fracture and Internal Release.
Also where should i put Life Surge, i guess just before FT?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Life surge with Full Thrust is good! Fracture isn't really a good cross-class skill, or atleast I haven't seen it become such. I know it wasn't in 2.x and I haven't seen any talk about it being useful here in HW.

Up until you get Chaos Thrust it will mostly just be keeping up the Heavy Thrust buff , Disembowel debuff and Phleg DoT on the enemy, and otherwise FT combo. Once you have Chaos Thurst it'll basically be Heavy Thrust, Chaos Thrust combo, Phleg DoT, Full Thrust combo. Use oGCDs when they are up/appropiate (For example, if I know there is a regular time for Adds to come up during a boss fight I may try to save Spineshatter dive to get to them quickly if its something I should be dealing with.)

Things will change a bit more going to 60 with the newer skills there, but so far it seems to mostly be similar to the 2.x version. Also if I am wrong on anything someone better versed in this will hopefully correct.

So i guess i shouldn't bother with Fracture, but what about IR, when should i use it, you think just before VT is appropriate to increase critical hit rate for the last 2 skills of the FT combo?

Once you have Chaos Thurst, Internal Release will actually be good to use right before it because the increased critical does affect your DoTs, so long as it is activated before you use Chaos Thrust/Phleg. I tend to use IR/B4B at the same time right before using Chaos, then use them when they come back up (and due to the way the rotation works, should mean that regardless of when they are used, they should be active in time for a Chaos Thrust/Phleg.) Note that Life Thrust's critical hit only affects the intial hit and not DoTs so still use it for Full Thrust.

what about ID? Please keep in mind that i am only lvl30 at the moment so no DI or CT to complete the combo. I guess i have to concentrate to FT combo for optimal DPS.

Just looked up because I didn't remember when Disembowel is learned: Pretty much ID is useless right now because of your FT combo. Once you get Disembowel it will combo off of ID, and Chaos Thrust is the finisher for it.

Pretty much for now keep Heavy Thrust up and your good.
