In the past, it seemed they were leary of hairstyles that showed the fact that Miqo's have no human ears, as all the base hairstyles have hair that covers where the ears would be. All subsequent hairstyles were the same, always covering the side of the head.

Then we got the MGP ponytail, which didn't try to hide the lack of ears.
It almost feels like they were testing the players reactions to a hairstyle that didn't hide the lack of ears. So you may not be hoping in vain, since the only reason for not giving those styles to the Miqo's would be the exposed ears (or lackthereof, lol) and no easy way to modify the style to provide that cover.

Personally, i just wanna see every hairstyle for both genders of every race for everyone. If that male Roe wants braided pigtails, let him have it. There are a few male hairstyles that i think would be amazing on female characters.

Nuuuu I want Y'shtola to stay unique! I do want more hairstyles for everyone though! -- More hairstyles and more poses please! Especially weapon poses!
