System restart with DX11 AND DX9

My game was working completely fine until the most recent patch. Now it is causing my computer to restart randomly from 30sec-30min when I'm trying to play FFXIV. I can play any other game on my PC and this doesn't happen.

I've made sure my drivers are updated. I've tried running on DX9 instead of DX11 since I heard people were having issues and the same thing happens. I also turned off the option to auto restart the PC if an error occurs and it still just goes black and restarts anyway.

I know there are threads about this related to zoning and DX11 but my situation seems to be a little different.

Any advice would be appreciated! Right now I'm just hoping that tonight's maintenance magically fixes things. =/
