Have FFXIV on PC but want to add PS4 to my account?

I have an account for PC, how do I add a PS4 to my account so I can play on both pc and ps4 whenever I want to and use the same account?

From the Mogstation, it says "To register the expansion for FINAL FANTASY XIV on the PlayStation®3 or PlayStation®4, you must purchase the digital download, or apply a registration code through the Sony Entertainment Network.
Upon completing registration and installation, start the game and follow the on-screen instructions to log in and add your license to your Square Enix account."

Thank You, do you need to have the cd in the ps4 to play?

That, I'm not quite sure. I had a downloaded version from Beta, so I tended to use that, though I do have a PS3 disk. If you'd like, tomorrow I could do a test for you if no one else answers to see if it just downloads from the disk, or if you need to have the disk in.

Nope DVD/Blu-ray disk isn't needed in the PS3/PS4 to play once you've run the inital install off the disk - it's all stored and run off the HDD (or my case SSD) because of the faster access times :D
