Moving from Cactuar

I'm a 181 SCH that may be moving to this server from Cactuar in hopes of raiding with a friend's static. I heard that this server had a stronger end game player base and I wanted to know if that was true. Cactuar's player base for end game is mainly smaller fcs and party finder groups without too many solid statics floating around. It seems to me that it may be too casual of server to be able to pug Alex Savage.

So if anyone could tell me how the server is (how players generally act towards others and amount of people doing end game content) that would be great. I am also very active and love to add people to my friends list just in case they need someone for a raid. Looking forward having a good experience raiding with everyone this xpac.
