Really dislike my extreme dungeon experiences.

I thought garuda is hard but holy hell, even titan is beyond frustrating as this fight with the people that I am actually randomly pugged into, has become the worst experience of my entire dungeon gameplay.

My story is that I just got started with Garuda on extreme and it took me at least two dungeon queues to actually get that extreme difficulty to get it finished. Now I finally unlocked the Titan Extreme and thought it was going to be fun, but that fun end up making me want to punch my monitor and do severe acts of self harm towards myself.
I have attempted 4 tries on trying to do Titan and still continue to fail, mostly because of the negative nancies that I am tied with that want to spam the abandon vote after 3 wipes, and will end up trolling the whole group by purposely jumping out the circle to purposely die...

I also dislike fighting Titan because the mechanics are way to difficult, I am sometimes nearly 1 second away from being safe on those landslides as I have to react fast most of the time considering I am a melee ninja, same thing applies with the weight of the land attacks as well. If I am lucky, I survive after the heart stage and into the point where I have to kill those adds and play russian roulette with the bomb boulders. Those that kill me mostly and the group just scattered like crazy. I heardly ever entered the last stage after the adds...

As a melee if you absolutely know you can't get away. Run to the Mt for landslide. Just make sure u get out fast because of mountain buster

From your join date, it appears you're quite new to the game. Here's a few tips that will help:

Take some time to get to know a few different groups of people in-game and run content with them. This will go a long way to solving your duty finder issues. The dungeons and raid content are not meant to be a solo experience, regardless of what people on these forums may try to tell you.

Practice practice practice. A lot players pretend that they never did something stupid and wiped on a difficult raid- these are the same people screwing up repeatedly in the current endgame and pointing fingers at everyone else instead of accepting failure and learning from it. The more you fail, the better you'll get if you take something away from each failure.

Watch raid guide videos on YouTube- people like Mr Happy and MTQ Capture(my fav) have tons of videos detailing every raid encounter in the game, these really should be your go to source when learning a fight.

Try multiple jobs, choose one or two that you enjoy playing and level and gear them. This way when a particular piece of content becomes frustrating or you get bored, you can step back, have a change of pace and keep things fresh.

Finally, this isn't WoW...it isn't FFXI, it isn't Eve Online, Everquest, Aion, SWTOR, TESO, DCUO or TERA. It's a unique and sometimes difficult game, so forget your expectations of how you think the game should play. If one thing is too complex or just isn't fun, do something else. Try everything and just enjoy the game- if you're like me, you may discover that you enjoy parts of the game you never thought you would.

Don't worry, You'll get it. Took me about three months to beat Titan. With random groups, party finder, and even my static. Nothing worked. Eventually my ffriend got fed up and carried me through.. ugh. The rest of the extremes I cleared same day with my static. Easy.

It's just that one battle for me. Never doing it again. Titan is evil.

Welcome to the titan gate. At one point they said their stats showed that 70% of the population was stuck at one form of titan or another. Shortly after this they removed the requirements for leviathan and mog ex.

How old is this content? And people think that's too hard? lol Guess you won't be doing the other extremes then and you probably shouldn't. Extremes aren't meant for everyone.

just 4 tries and you are "frustrated"? Take your time to learn the fight with the fellow new player you getting pug with.

I've been playing this game since 2.0's launch and still haven't beaten Titan EX.

It's really just a case of learning his rotation it doesn't change. Learn it,be prepared and learn to see the fight. Most people die because they tunnel vision and don't dodge properly. Titan will do the exact same moves in every phase nothing ever changes at all.
