Wall-Mounted Furnishing Suggestion - Plaques and Messages

I was desinging my FC's new home when I had a thought. I was struck by how cool it would be if there was a wall-mounted furniture item that could act as a plaque or sorts. I imagined one with house design permissions could "write" on the plaque, and any using it would see the message that is transcribed.

It would be great for naming rooms or special spots within the home, and would allow a little extra personal flair.

Does anyone else think that would just be awesome?
