Hmm..anyone know what's up with this? I checked the hotfixes thread to see if there was some stealth update today or something, but the only thing I noticed was that the post for the July 7th hotfixes was removed...
Support team, if something was done to fix this, please let us know! If not, why was the thread moved to resolved issues? Many of us are still struggling with this!

That thread for whatever reason they chose to move to resolved issues. This issue is not resolved i assure you. Some people had some luck with doing something with tessellation. But I tried all the tweaks, and still I crash nearly 50% the time I teleport anywhere, and 100% when I zone into a dungeon. I have to run in DX9 if I want to play at all. I wish we had some kind of official response this is being looked into because it is effecting both nvidia and AMD users alike.
Same here, i get full in black screen crashes on both Directx 9 & 11... they occur randomly around 30 mins of playing and it forces a system restart.
I've literally tried everything, updating drivers, beta drivers, rolling back drivers (all clean uninstall/reinstall), tessellation settings, LOD settings ect ect I've just kind of run out of things to try
Oh that issue is different from mine. You gotta have some other thing goin on. The big issue most people experienced was crashing while zoning, or crashing with certain UI elements when they open the menus. But this is only on DX11.
yes it is not resolved, most of the time i cannot even start the Game with directx11 and have to use directx9 and that is so slow.
i recently reinstalled windows 8.1 two times, one time with installing everything(drivers) and tried the game with directx11 and it started every time i tried and i could play for hours.
after playing some more time, i installed all the "Windows Update" updates and did restart my PC after installing them and the game did not work any longer(the same problem every time), i then did a refresh of windows(where everything installed will be de-installed) and had to reinstall every driver and all the VC++ Redistributable and tried again but it was not working again.
so i reinstalled Windows 8.1 completely and installed every driver and all the VC++ Redistributable and it still works, so i wont install the "Windows Update" updates for the time being.
just wanted to give my two cents to this problem, maybe it will work also for you, but be "WARNED" that running a not up to date Windows is not good and healthy.
ok the crash i get as soon as i try to start the Game(directx11 activated) from the Launcher is back :(
come on Square do something.

Just downloaded the 15.7 for AMD, and been runnin DX11 for about a hour no crash which is pretty significant. Whats odd I don't see any specific fix for this game so IDK. It crashed earlier this morning when I tried before the new driver. I'll report back, cause I intend to do some pretty heavy dungeon grinding this weekend.

I had fixed the previous crash but now its back with the black screen issue. I did not have this problem until the latest patch. Happens randomly, sometimes takes 5 minutes, sometimes 8 hours.
OCing your graphics card does not and will not fix the issue.
:( I'm also still crashing. Pretty much 50% chance that if I teleport somewhere, my game is going to do one of three things; 1. Take 3-4 minutes to load me into a zone successfully while the "Not Responding" error is up. 2. Give me the "Windows Not Responding" error and load me into the game, but invisible, and I will be disconnected. 3. "Windows Not Responding" and just completely crash.
I'm running an r9 270, and my friend with the same card doesn't have the same troubles. :(
I also get these complete system crashes with dx9 and dx11. I'll log in and sometimes be smooth for a couple hours other times just 10-15 minutes and game sends my comp into a bsod with noise. Only a hard system restart will get my system back up and running. Can't find any issue with my comp and I can play plenty of other intensive games without an issue and no issue when I run a maxed out system benchmark. I'm running an intel 4690, gtx 970, and 16gigs of high speed gamer ram.
This is getting really annoying as I just returned to the game where my old system before upgrade would play at max settings without a hitch. 3 times in a row now crashed trying to do the first machinist duty.
