RMT Issues
Ok you know what I am getting sick of being harassed
by these Gold sellers in game and so are other players.
I thought for sure that when you released Heavensward
that there would be a way to be able to right click on a
players name in chat and say report for spam or
report for RMT.
You really need to implement a system like that and
actually take action against these people. If you don't
then people are going to get fed up and just start quitting
the game.
So I explained all this and more to a GM as well and
it seems that your GMs are not even motivated
enough to try and pass this information on to
the developers and he told me to post it in here
in the Feedback area. Real nice GMs you have
If GMs are given feedback then they should
be able to take this feedback to the developers.
Obviously your GMs don't give a damn enough
to actually take comments that players are giving
up to the developers.
I constantly report RMT spammers and I am forever
opening up tickets about it. I opened up one ticket
one morning.. I played for a while and came back
about 3 hours later and the SAME gold spammer
with the same account I reported 3 - 4 hours
earlier was still online and spammed me for a 2nd
time.
Come on really? does your RMT team care that
little that when people report the gold spammers
that your team does absolutely nothing about
stopping it. That is just horrible customer service
and a horrible way to run a game.. It was the same
player that spammed me earlier and the exact same
name.
Come on Square Enix get with it and hire enough people
to handle the RMT issue here on the North American Servers!
I am playing on the Mateus server and the RMT spam is
absolutely horrible!
you know that these gold spammers are abusing your free
account process right all the messages that I get are from
free trial accounts. I think that Square Enix needs to either
disable this option or give the GMs a way to be able to IP
ban so that way they can stop these gold spammers from
creating multiple accounts once you do ban them once.
Square Enix needs to do more against RMT you are far
from doing enough. why don't you get your legal team
involved and have them start going after these
gold sellers websites that are being reported as well
and have them shut down.
I think that Square Enix is doing a horrible job at dealing
with the gold spammers and you need to do a lot more
to stop this abuse.
This having to do a /busy every time we log in because
of these gold spammers is absolute BS. If you don't do
this though you get bombed with gold spammers messaging
you.
Come on Square Enix get with it and take care of this
problem immediately!
And please don't tell me to post this in the "Feedback" section
because I can't even post my whole message. This message
was just over 3000 character and it says I have to shorten
it to 1000 come on. You can't even give your feedback in
the feedback section That is way too short. we should be
able to do at least 6000 characters! Fix your feedback section!
Oh and if anyone else wants to know how I got around their
stupid limit of 1000 characters is post just a few characters and
then edit your post and the 1000 character limit doesn't seem
to apply any more.

And this is my point proven right here. with in seconds of me going into the game today
I was spammed by a gold spammer. I could not even get my /busy on before the gold
spammer had already messaged me.
And yes this was reported in game under the support & Information, Contact US, Report Cheating
as well. Not that it would do any good. I filled out the form with all the needed information
and even sent them a uncensored version of the screenshot which I am about to post
bellow.
Come on Square Enix get on the ball and get rid of these damn gold spammers!

This is a response I made to a latest RMT thread which was started

Everyone is asking for this I have a thread saying the same thing basically
other people have started threads as well about the RMT issue and yet
Square Enix doesn't appear to be listening to the players and what they
want. So far absolutely no response from Square Enix on this after multiple
threads have been started about this issue by various players.
Trust me everyone wants it but Square Enix isn't giving it to us.
