When the duty finder says Adventurer in Need(Tank) does this mean that joining as a tank will offer bonus EXP for the run? I'm curious because sometimes it says Tank, heal, or dps(rarely) and I'm wondering if I should just wait for it to call for my role specifically to get the most EXP out of my daily roulette.
The "in need" role gets a bonus, which differs depending on the roulette and your level, upon completion of the dungeon. While leveling, you get bonus EXP, and at cap, you'll get bonus tomes, typically of Law. Guildhests also award bonus GC seals. You can wait for the corresponding bonus to pop, but I don't tend to fish for it long. If you have something to do in the meantime, great, but if you have the time to get in, do your dungeon and get out, there's not a whole lot of reason to wait.
the "In Need" is only for the gil bonus
thats why its either off center or underneath the initial rewards from said roulette
you will always get the 1x EXP bonus no matter what is needed
