Hello all,
Fairly new to the game as I have just completed 2.0. Looking for an FC to join but the thing is I'm in the military and about to move to Japan for a few years so my stability is questionable to say the least. Is an FC worth doing and does anyone suspect that I may have to change servers? Thanks in advance.
In regards to a Free Company, most are perfectly happy to tolerate perpetually absent members, as it bulks up their member count artificially. I wouldn't commit to any static raid groups, though. Do you speak Japanese? If so, you'd probably have a great time on their servers, especially considering issues of latency. Later boss encounters are heavily dependent on reacting to crap appearing on the ground, so the game is strictly as easy as your ping is low.
