"Reply to last tell" keybind or macro?

For some reason Reply (forward) and Reply Temporarily (forward) scroll through, seemingly, the entire list of tells I've ever recieved not just for the current login session. I cannot tell where they choose to start their selection of names.

I'm looking for a keybind that works like "/reply " does, sends a tell to the last person that sent me one.

Another solution would be to make a macro, hotbar it, and keybind that. The problem is /reply needs text after it. Is there a way to make a macro that will leave open the text entry field for typing?

Is it what "alt-r" does ? ^^;

No, it is as the op described, the "alt-r", if pressed again starts to scroll through all tell targets you have had, and there is no way to "reset" it to the most recent one yourself. It only returns to the most recent one after someone has send you a tell again after you had scrolled it somewhere by repeatingly pushing it.
