Chat animation

One thing I like in WoW that added immersion, was the chat animations. It gave a sence of life to the character and see various expressions based in the way you typed, and the chat mode. We see these animnation from npc. I would like to see them (when I can play) from our characters. Like wjen we shout make our character look like their shouting. When we talking in our linkshells or tell make as look like we are talking into something. When in say or party make it look like we are just talking. It don't have to be silly or cartoony.
Along with this have emote trigger words. Aion did this and well. like heehee or haha laugh come up and stuff.

Again this adds life to our character instead of standing around looking like statues talking to each other.

As far as a, "Chat Bubble"...........................I know this is Final Fantasy, but come on! Little too childish for me.

I did say sorta, its more of a you see who is talking/ saying. I'm more talking just the chat animations. But a chat bubble is a game way of establishing who is talking instead of reading a scrolling chat box. But again more talking animations :)

Yea I have to vote no on a chat bubble as well

Let's keep that practice with Aion and WoW.

there fixed it. You guys really need to stop with only commenting on stuff you hate. How about discuss about chat animaions, and maybe how you would like it put in. If you hate it then just don't post. II'm not liking for a like it or hate it. I'm looking for a brain storming session. :)

They had chat bubbles (or squares/rectangles) in other Final Fantasy games, so why not this one? I would love to see that implemented, and I do agree with animations from the characters as you are speaking or shouting, but I wouldn't want an animation for linkshell /tell or party, as other players would not be able to see what you're talking about yet you look like you're talking?

I like the whole idea of chat animations, apart from the frequently mentioned chat bubbles ^^ I think it would be great to give our characters a little more animation.

I would love chat animations. I remember in FF11, seeing how your head would turn when you target someone and everyone else can see it too, that added a lot to the immersion. Chat animations would definitely add to that.
