Server time is wrong for some people. [EU] [Lich]

Hi, just want to point out an issue on Lich (server forums are dead, don't try to deny it), and possibly other EU servers too.

EU server time is supposedly based on UK time (GMT). However a while back (maybe a month or 2?) our clocks in the UK went forward 1 hour for daylight savings, to GMT+1 (or BST).

Now, for those of us in the UK, the server time has been adjusted to account for this, as in ST is BST, not GMT. Other people on the server (from Finland, Russia etc) have not had their ST changed. So this leads to ST being GMT for some, and GMT+1 for others. Naturally, this makes it a pain in the ass to schedule things properly.

Can someone look into this issue please?

I know my ST is correct. My LT is, of course, seven hours behind... but I've checked with my UK friends and the server time matches with theirs.

Are you sure they aren't looking at the LT? I had that problem.....forever

Wait I just remembered something
American DST happens about a month earlier than the UK one...when DST happened here my ST was wrong, until the UK had theirs. Maybe the places you listed don't observe DST, so they never adjusted accordingly? That's the only other thing I can think of.

Don't think of ST as GMT, think of it as UTC. It never changes, it's always set at UTC so when the UK goes from GMT to BST, we're UTC+1, because the servers are not on UK time but on UTC.

And just looking, my server time is the same as my local time, so yeah, there is something wrong as it should be local time -1.
