So I'm fishing an item that has been said to be able to be Aetherialy Reduced. Yet it's not letting me. And yes I have the Collector's Glove active when I'm fishing the item.
Is there a minimum number a certain collectible needs to have in order to be eligible for this?
I'm confused too. It looked like a method of getting use out of collectibles that you couldn't muster enough quality to turn in to the vendor, but alas it is not. I have no idea what quality level is required. If it's the same, I don't quite get the point.
There is a minimum value. iirc its something like 250-300~. Lowest recorded value I have is graded 3/8: 390 collect value. (roughly one grade up per 50 points)
Now I sin't a master of this yet but it ain't every collectible, which threw me at first.
Only the shite I dug outta an ephemeral node so fars been reducible. It's all had a level requirement, but when hittin' the skill it'd show up in the list and tell ya what the requirement is.
An for the record, I've reduced things with 0 collectible value. Maybe lower level stuff needs ta be a higher grade though, since before that level 56 node I couldn't break up anythin', even stuff good enough ta turn in.
Seems to be higher than 300. I have a 492 sorceror fish and it's not showing. If it's only for very high levels I don't really get what the point of it is.
Some things are Aetherically Reducible. Other Collectibles are NOT.
Make sure that you are actually catching a Reducible fish, or gathering a Reducible item. Just because you can get it as Collectible does NOT mean it is automatically Reducible. General rule of thumb : if Rowena's shop asks for it for Red or Blue scrips, its not Reducible.
