Why is Critical Hit Rate and Determination so taboo?

I noticed that Healer Law gear doesn't give Critical Hit Rate and Determination together, so I figured Alexander gear might, however that doesn't either. In fact, it seems that most pieces just hand out Piety/Speed Speed with either Critical Hit Rate or Determination alongside.

Why is it that no blue tier gear has Critical Hit Rate and Determination together? As a Scholar, it's kind of annoying when my only options make me choose between both of my main secondary stats while jamming Piety down my throat.

I rarely even go below 6,000MP and that is if I am being sloppy and not using Aetherflow correctly or am spamming Broil.

It seems as though Astrologians and White Mages are getting special treatment with gear stats. They both can use heal over time spells so they benefit from Spell Speed and both classes aren't quite as sustainable with their MP without a bit more moderation in what skills they use. I think it'd be nice if some pieces would have Critical Hit Rate and Determination together like they did in ARR 2.0. From a healing standpoint, Speed Speed does nothing for me and Piety is not needed. I understand that Spell Speed raises the damage your damage over times do, but I think having the option to stack another stat while keeping up with the latest Mind and Vitality stats given from higher tier gear would be nice.

is the same with DoW classes with skillspeed...what i figure is square thinks theyve done an outstanding job by buffing spell/skillspeed and so they show that by patting themselves on the back and adding it to every piece of gear they can...when, in reality..skillspeed/spellspeed is only marginally better then before and certantly does not replace Crit or Det as mainstats (even with the minor AA nerf to det)
