It shows only Lancer and pughilist additional abilities. Does that mean that ninja can only get the additional abilities from those two jobs and not the others?

This is correct, but they're classes, not jobs. Ninja is a job. JOBS are limited to 2 CLASSES for sub abilities whereas when you are just a CLASS (for Ninja this would be Rogue) you can take abilities from any other class that is crossable. Also as a job you can have a max of 5 abilities, and as a class the max is 10 (these capping out at 50)
