Linking macros?
Hello :3
I currently use two macros for each class: 1 for the "main" wear (body, legs, waist, etc.) and another for the rings. That means that sometimes, when i change class, I forget to remove the rings (Rank 20 craft jobs with rank 40 rings equipped make % go down fast if I neglect).
I don't know if there is a command (if so, my apologies), but I think it would be nice to link macros. For example, my first macro is "pugilist1" and another "pugilist2", so the last line of the first macro could be something like: /execute "pugilist2". Once first macro finish, start the second macro automatically
Or, in another case, maybe can it be included more than 10 lines in a macro. Preferably without limit, like a .txt file
What do you think?
Sorry for my English. I'm Spanish ><

It'd be too easy to set up an automated pattern this way.
Though, I would love a type of Gambit system from FFXII in this game. Casting Protect every 4 minutes and Stygian Spikes every 2 minutes is really annoying.

Sounds good.
There will be complaints from some about all of your suggestions but I think, at minimum, individual macros should be more than 10 lines. I won't venture what they should be in lieu of 10 lines but at least enough to cover re-gearing yourself from one class to another completely.
The ability to string macros together offers a good solution in the event that the individual length does not get adjusted up by very much but will, for some, verge on "botting" but, in my opinion, those that will cry "bot" are alarmists.
The only concern (perhaps it would be better phrased as an FYI on this discussion) is that due to the ever present "server issues" meaningful adjustment of the macro system, at the moment, is impossible. These problems also render placing safeguards into the game that would prevent "automated sequences" from happening unlikely I suspect.

I'm sure some of us remember the convenience of script macros from FFXI, would like something like that for XIV...
