Buff/Debuff tracker

So sometimes when playing I loose track of buff/debuff timers.

I will get so caught up in managing procs, watching the area for AoEs etc. that I forget to check my hot shot timer or bio duration etc,

I was wondering how people deal with this or if there is a addon or program I can use to help with it.

For example in WoW I have a HUD system that displays as bar near the top of my char that counts the time I have left on SnD or other buffs/debuffs I need to keep up. so when that bar (which is a lot more obvious and clear than the small icons we have) goes out I know its time to refresh.

anything similar or like that I can use. Or just any general tip to keeping track of things?
