War DPS for instances - Numbers

TLDR - What are good War dps numbers for dungeons.

Hi all, now I know no one uses parsers. everyone is just really good at math. With that in mind, what numbers should I be doing as a war. Been playing about 5 months now, so long enough to have some basic muscle memory there.

A friend told me I am hitting 250-350, depending on instance. I wanted to put that in perspective, get peoples thoughts/numbers. What are good dungeons numbers for a war? I am i lvl 170, 1 slaying piece (just picked up a second).

I want to spend a bit of time over the next couple of months making sure I am doing my part. Instances like Bis-Ex really ingrain that I need to max my dps out, particularly as war.

I think I am a bit sloppy in using the storms damage combo, and I could improve my beserk and internal release. I have started stance dancing a bit, so with a few fell cleaves in there I should hit higher numbers.

Tanks usually stay around 3-400. Maybe dip a little below 3 depending on the instance I think. That's staying in defiance. That's what I think. But I don't really keep track in dungeons to much. I stay a VIT tank, no strength. I know it's only HP. But that's kinda what a tank needs.

Also, it is ok to us a parser, just not when ur harassing someone with it. Like putting them down telling them they don't know how to play or something.

At around i160 with 30/30 points allocated to STR and STR accessories, I'm usually between 5 & 700 DPS for AoE (3-6 mobs) and between 3 & 500ish DPS single target.

Do keep in mind this is all while main tanking. Switch to OT (I like to run with other tanks on occasion) and those numbers increase another 150-200 DPS.

I'f I stay defiance for an entire fight I'm usually in the 350-450 range when I'm tanking the Level 60 dungeons. I'm using Str Attributes and a few Strength Accessories. ilv.170ish the last time I parsed it.

600+ for expert dungeon is achievable by using Defiance + Unchained + Berserk for trash pulls and going full DPS stance at the boss fights, funny how the trash mobs hurt more than the bosses themselves...

I like to save my berserk for when Infuriate is up so I can fell cleave or decimate x3. On average in ex dungeons Im only in Defiance less than half the time only for initial pulls then after I switch into berserk deliverance. Unchained isn't rally needed outside of mt in raids as you generate pretty good hate with berserk in deliverance, especially if you Decimate (for trash) or Fell Cleave (for bosses) 3 times in hat rotation.
