For anyone who won't see it, buffs to MCH not incoming

Just saw this in a particular thread and I need to share it with the community.

The machinist is NOT going to be receiving buffs.

I just wanted to share this as soon as I saw it, this is critical information for most of our machinist community... a lot of us (myself included) were hanging onto the idea we will get buffs.

It ends up we should put that hope aside. I am done with my machinist, I am going to be leveling up a Ninja now so that I actually have a real DPS instead of a "support" that is DISCLUDED from party finder and kicked out from parties because they are a MCH.

the meaning of this:

- Dev team knows that player fells MCH DPS is too low, but the dev team made enough test and said MCH can do big damages.
- Its possible that players parser are unable to parse MCH DPS correctly and thats why there is a difference.
- Dev team is actually doing some test to see where this difference comes from and will patch if they find a bug explaining the DPS gap btw players parser and dev parsers.

Nothing good really and i guess MCH can prepare themselve to be exluded from Alexander during a long time.

Well, i'll probably try to level up a MCH and check if SE is right or not.

Oh god.. SE must have the same people who worked on FF11 ranger working on MCH and Bard. The excuses behind the bad design is getting really sad at this point. Hopefully, enough people will keep showing how flawed these 2 jobs are and things will get fixed. :(

They made enough tests.

Are they....are they using parsers or just looking at damage numbers that pop up? Cause MCH can burst pretty nicely at the beginning of the fight, but it's a steep drop off a slippery hill after...

Even with those bursty numbers a whitemage spamming stone 3 will easily outdamage a MCH over the course of an entire fight.

To be fair, he's saying that they are looking into the problem, analyzing it, and they will fix it if they have to. So there is still hope.

Yaay 30 seconds of fully buffed out with every cross class buff.

Then you see your DPS for the rest of 90 seconds be absolutely horrendous and get outdamaged by white mages spamming a 210 potency stone 3.

SE, are you not reading your own forums? Are you not looking at the HARD FACTS? Do you even play this game?!

So, we're able to parse every other job correctly, but not MCN?

Even if we don't have the exact numbers you do, we're still parsing both jobs at once! Regardless of the exact number comparison, we're still seeing the DIFFERENCE in job performance.

We aren't upset that our exact numbers aren't what we think they should be. We're upset that there is such a difference in jobs.

Deal with it, Bard and machinist will not parse as high as melee DPS or casters, SE is not going to change that apparently. But sincerely I've seen some amazing Machinist parse doing over 1k DPS after 3-4m which is pretty good for a "support". I wouldn't say machinist in its current is fine but GB is well though with its inherent kit while Bard WM isn't.

Also, I've seen many people just using ammunitions to do the usual 1-2-3 combo. We also wondered why the potency bonus was so low with ammunition. It's because from my point of view ammo is used to get proc. Instead of doing 1-2-3, you're doing 1-2-1-3-2 etc. My dps went skyrocket after realizing that.

And the class will probably have the same change square will do on minuet, ie no casting time probably..
