Mudra lag is killing me, recommend my job change!

I’m still on my free trial but I’ve gotten to lvl 43 NIN so far. The mudra lag is really annoying. Mudras are a pain every time I use them and at 45 I get more. I’m in Japan playing on a NA server to be on the same as my brother so nothing I can do about the lag.
I’d like recommendations on jobs to switch to (NIN was the only thing I wanted to play). I’m thinking a tank job but I don’t know which to choose.

I want to be rather self-reliant and can solo well while not having hidden problems like this mudra lag BS. I like things about all three PLD WAR and DRK but I don’t know which to choose.
I only have PGL 16 and NIN 43 so don't worry about subjobs.

Dark Knight needs more time before it's place has been clearly defined (imo, at least a real raid setting and more data collection w/o bugs) but both Paladin and Warrior have been pretty much set in their ways. Paladin is a curative rock, great cooldowns and support while Warrior has a more intricate toolkit that provides greater DPS and reactivity.

Both Paladin and Warrior can hold their own quite well. If you find a group to stick with you may want to try Warrior as the extra damage could speed clear times and they can also tank quite well (their aoe damage is better than Paladin's also). While a Paladin would be ensuring a clear with strong damage reductions, parry, and shield with support skills (being that steady rock, even more so now they can whip out 3K+ cures). They fit their expected images fairly well.

Thank you Shougun! WAR sounds just about right then; because most of the time I've played so far has been soloing, either in FATEs, leves or quests so higher DPS with the added 'not going to die easy' tankness would be perfect.
