Issue with keys changing/not working

I've been plagued by a strange issue with the game randomly changing key functions or seemingly disabling keys entirely. By this I mean buttons hit on the hotbar with my mouse buttons change around or don't execute, hitting ESC on my keyboard will alt-tab out of FF XIV, and trying to type in the chat window (or any text box while it's acting up) just doesn't work.

I'm using a Razer Blackwidow and a Logitech G600 with Windows 7, so a conflict could be a factor there, but it's been happening long before I got a gaming keyboard. I'm pretty sure the game is messing with something, somehow because I don't get this kind of control failure when running any other sort of game or program.

And because it happens randomly, it seems near impossible to troubleshoot. If the hotkeys are screwed around, un-plugging and re-plugging in the mouse is a quick fix, but if the keyboard is messed up, closing out of FFXIV and reloading seems to be the only thing to get it to go back to normal. I've checked my keyboard settings when the issues crop up, and they aren't set to anything different than what they usually are "English (Canada) - US".
