hey dps people
when your white mage puts down Asylum - most likely during a non hectic/running around phase of a fight - try to stay within its field for the awesomeness heals that it ensues.
don't panic and think its aoe and run away from it...you want to go into the light :D
-
I always try to run towards it when I see it (and if I'm close enough) because I know how annoying it is when I see people not BE IN THE BUBBLE
or my fav, everyone is IN the bubble but then the tank purposefully pulls things out of the bubble. Noooooo
-
While I'm not particularly saying that you do this, but I've seen many an occasion where That healing bubble appears and most of us already has full HP.
-
Only problem is it looks a LOT like the puddles on bismarck.

Reminds me of the feeling i get when i lay down RoF on my Bard ... And the Tank immediately moves the boss away from it.
To be fair, with all the new kinds of AoE spell effects, I got startled when i finally turned party spell effects back on with a DRK in party. My first instinct was to GTFO rather quickly.
What you're best off doing is telling the party right at the start of the run and laying down the field to show them what to look for.

You really think people that run away from the healing field reads the forum?
-
Maybe they are undead? Please think about the undead!
-
People are going to have to get use t the new effects, I have not even had a white mage use that yet. Everyone could stand to read over all the abilities another couple of times.
-
I feel like most WHMs use that during the most random times. You use it when everyone's stacking up for AoE healing anyway, not when there's 20 mechanics around and you have targeted red circles getting thrown around.

I will keep this in mind once I get a chance to play at higher level :p
