Character Creator Light

Hey SE, can we get a new character creator area option? It's a pain currently to get the "right" amount of light in the character creator regardless of which area scene you choose. Yes, I know we can move our character in a circle towards the light but even then there is shadows of trees and whatnot on our character that can mess with our perception.

Yeah.... I can get behind this. I was having trouble determining color, myself, no matter how I spun the character. My Au Ra's skin is a little more red than I anticipated because of this. >_> It was difficult to get a feel of the true color when all of them are 90% shadowy with bits of bright light. I wanted a tan.... but not a reddish tan... x_x Just a light brownish tan....

I agree, the lighting in the character creator is really annoying! >_<

Also they need to allow us to walk around in an empty instance before finalizing. That would be a nice feature.

And if they let us walk around can we also get striking dummies and emote options to try everything?

Also can we get the option to switch which job armour set we can toggle on and off?
Very minor thing but it would be a nice little quality of life feature to see how the character will look in all the job specific gears.

Personally I find the Limsa background while facing shadow to be the most accurate.

This or at least a button to hear the battle cries. That was a nightmare when I was testing alt designs; get through the intro, only to hear the voice to be entirely different in battle than what I heard from on the creation screen.

Yeah...this was annoying....I would adjust skin tones to get it all correct...then I get in the game and i'm bright as hell. I get a fantasia from the veterans rewards and adjust darker.....still too bright. But both times they looked fine in the character creator...

I'm glad I finally got my character how I want them, but I had to buy the second fantasia to do it.
