Will there be additional Fan Fest activities in Vegas like before? I missed out so I'm hoping they keep doing them so I can make it to one!
I believe they said it will not be a yearly occurrence, but more likely every other year. Probably won't see any more Fan Fests until 2016. In the meantime, they have a strong presence at industry booths at anime cons and other conventions - like AX this weekend.
I think the way it will be with Fan Fests is we will have one when the next Expansion is about to be officially announced. Based on 2.xx patch cycle, we can see the next Expansion in about 1.5 - 2 years and when that time comes, we'll have another Fan Festival I'm sure.
I'm pretty sure Yoshida mentioned we'd be entering a cycle with smaller yearly expansions after Heavensward. I have no idea whether that means we'll be seeing the next expansion a year from now, or that the next one will be in two years with a release every year after.
