Major lag since Firday from Orlando Florida to Primal Data center

Anyone else getting this? I've had some serious non-stop lag going on since Friday morning. I've heard that a lot of people on the east coast are experiencing the same thing. Any clue what's going on? It's just with FF14 =\ and it makes it really hard to tank...

Perhaps servers are being overloaded with people, it is the weekend :x

I was walking around limsa lominsa and saw HUNDREDS of people. Blew my mind.

I'm in the Apopka/Altamonte area and haven't been experiencing much lag. My ISP is through Brighthouse.

I'm in Ocala, same deal. Been getting random lag spikes and random redline symbols. The Primal Data Center server overpopulation is definitely the issue, sure it isn't my ISP (Cox Communications) outside of the daily thunderstorms knocking out power across the county.

I've been getting lag ever since welcome back campaign started. I've been playing since EA and have never experienced persistent lag like this.

I'm also from Orlando, haven't had any lag, but I have been experiencing some weird thing with my PS4 where it kicks me out of the game saying it can't verify my license. The only thing that fixes it is restarting my router for some reason.

Im on aether the majority of my time and this lags too at the moment, compared to chaos. Did USA start their summer holidays?

I'm in Florida playing on the EU data center and have been getting these random lag spikes all week. Cox with PS4. Often does happen during storms though.

EU datacentre is in the same building as NA one, Canada, (for now).

I've always had lag issues in Tampa. Less so when I was with brighthouse but pretty much unplayable with verizon. I pretty much always use pingzapper because the data centers are in Montreal and for some reason verizon likes to go west first, then back east before it goes north towards Canada.......Like what the heck verizon? Gotta use a vpn to take a direct route to NY then to Montreal. I get zero lag with pingzapper.
