Went ahead and took the plunge. I wont toss out my 360 wired controller, but for 12.99, its going to be a great alternative since my 360 pad's left analog is a bit loose.

It looks a bit cheap and nasty, and for 8 pound i am not surprised. I personally would pick the PS3 or Xbox360 over the FFXIV one, cost a bit more but then you pay more for the quality.

ps, I use an Xbox360 controller. :)

Not really it look cheap yes but people said it great controller and does the job. I pay for controller that cost more and last less then a cheap one at least for me o.o

Any chance you can take it apart and take some pictures of the insides? I would get one my only worry is the build quality.

Are those controllers actually made under lisence of SE? To me those looked like flimsy knockoffs.
Personally im sticking to my Xbox360 controller, and will swap playing FFXIV on my PS3 and dualshock controller + a snap on keyboard. I actually bought PS3, keyboard and Deus Ex mostly for FFXIV.

Some bought PS3 for Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo. I for FFXIV^^

Metal Gear Solid 4 was sick. I bought it for FFXIII.

I got my controller a few days ago for the sale price, and I can vouch for its quality. While it doesn't feel as hefty or a PS3 or 360 controller, it still feels solid, and honestly if your last controller is KIA, then you can't really go wrong with this one, especially with the added ability to map more commands thanks to the function button. It's also compatible with the PS3 apparently, so that's a plus.

For $13 I might just buy one to have it, im using crappy logitech controller now anyways, might be a step up

I like using a gamepad because of the analog sticks, i feel they are smoother to use than keyboard/mouse, but lack enough buttons. With this mouse and gameboard, I would still have both my analog sticks, but with much more buttons

Still a lil hesitant on purchasing tho, whats everyone use/think??
