Slight Cursor Problem (Mac Client)

So somehow (and this has happened about 4-5 times) I've done something to cause a small area in the center of the screen to turn the game cursor into the "Text Select" cursor. Now the problem (aside from it just being odd and obviously wrong) lies with the fact that when it's doing this I am unable to click on anything on the screen that I may need to interact with. It becomes more of a nuisance if I'm trying to click in box that has appeared because I wont be able to select any option I'm given(And I believe most, if not all, of my npc interactions appear right there.) I've found that I am able to grab the top of any box that appears there and move it out of the center, at which point I can interact with the options given. Other things I've noticed, it does not go away if I simply log out. I can see the effect from Start Screen. If I restart the client it does go away however.
