DRK Shiva Avalanche knockback

playing as DRK what skill or abillity use when Shiva Avalanche knockback come to DRK as MT or Ravana Ex knockback PLD can use Tempered Will WAR Holmgang

Nothing. You get nothing. You can use plunge to try to recover the distance. That's it.

so you saying that when Shiva Avalanche knockback come to you as DRK MT you go behind her?

Well on Shiva you literally get nothing since you'd be level 50 so tanking her at an edge is probably not a great idea. ;)

To be honest though I rarely used Tempered Will or Holmgang in most content. Only in some primals and a lot of them have alternate ways to avoid the knockback. I am not at all missing the need to take up another slot just for a situational knockback action used a lot more for convenience than necessity.

Are you insane? Tanking her at the edge for that is the only good idea. In the middle, whomever gets targeted by the avalanche is a popsicle.

It's simple, just run behind her if you get marked, like pld or war do when their knockback counters are on cooldown.

Thought of this too. Our method of knockbacks is plunge, which thankfully I have deeply ingrained from MNK's Shoulder Tackle.

On this issue, I would personally like to see Plunge able to have Dark Arts used on it to provide a buff, Grave Determination, that functions like Tempered Will but with a shorter duration. This would give them a knockback avoiding/preventing ability but avoid button bloat since it is built into another ability and would be able to be used more frequently than Tempered Will but would require better timing because of the shorter duration and extra Dark Arts action necessary to activate.

This. It's not really that big of a deal.

Unless they made a change that I'm unaware of, Holmgang (or being bound in general) has no affect on knockback. I recall a number of times screwing myself in Titan Extreme because of that.
