I know there seems to be a bunch of threads of players listing their own changes for how they want DRK to end up, and I honestly feel a lot of them are asking for things way outside of what DRK currently is or was intended to be. That said, I wanted to toss in some input.
Either: Dark Dance naturally increases parry rate by 40% (up from 30%) or Grit adds 10% parry rate to its effect
Dark Dance increases parry rate by 60% under the effect of Dark Arts, removing the evasion bonus (which serves against DRK's cost of the skill. They spend a lot of MP to Dark Arts it, expect Blood Price to restore some, and start dodging more?)
Dark Passenger applies a STR down effect on all targets hit when under the effect of Dark Arts, removing the Blind. (This goes hand in hand with the above. It makes a Dark Arts'd Dark Passenger more viable, and forces a DRK to make more dynamic choices with their Dark Arts.)
Enhanced Unmend no longer has a chance to grant a free Unleash. The effect is changed to have a chance to make the next skill that costs MP to use only half the original MP cost. This goes for any skill that uses MP, including Dark Arts.
Either: Reprisal is changed to a 25 second cooldown or the effect of Reprisal lasts for 25 seconds. Potency can be reduced if need be.
Either: Shadow Skin becomes the same as Sentinel and is increased to 40% damage reduction, or the skill has a duration of 20 seconds.
Carve and Spit actually does its "three-fold" attack and works like Dream within a Dream from Ninja, or the tool tip is changed (more than likely the tool tip, due to the Dark Arts effect)
Blood Weapon gains an additional effect when used during Grit. Attacking a target with a physical attack while under the effect of Blood Weapon applies a 20 Potency damage over time effect to the target for 15 seconds. When Blood Weapon's effect ends, all damage over time suffered is recovered as HP. (This can be applied to more than one target in the 15 second time frame that Blood Weapon lasts, but the HP recovery will occur when Blood Weapon ends) (Blood Weapon does not get the 10% attack speed buff in Grit)
Delirium loses it's INT reduction and gains the ability to reduce target's magic damage dealt by 10% for 20 seconds. Can now stack with MNK's Dragon Kick.
Living Dead has it's effect changed to when Living Dead triggers, you automatically recover 50% of HP, but must be healed an additional total of 50% of maximum life to remove the Walking Dead status to avoid death.

The only big thing I would like to see changed is DRK's TP endurance while off tanking increased a bit.
Maybe a 150/200 TP restore of some kind on a 2 minute CD?
A few minor mitigation buffs (5% at most on Shadow Wall and a 30s reduction on CD). Maybe a buff to parry in Grit or the DA change to Dark Dance that you suggested. -

As I've said in the other threads, there's only two skills I think need changing:
-Dark Dance: Change this completely. Make it a "Dread Spikes"-like skill that adds a damage absorption based on a % of your HP or MP. If used with DA, it would reflect damage equal to a portion of the damage absorbed back at the attacker.
-Reprisal: Put it on GCD and make it trigger every time you parry, just like Shield Swipe. -

That said, removing the parry requirement and keeping it on its cooldown gives DRK some desperately needed OT utility, while making Reprisal itself more reliable and capable of being used early in a pull, which gives DRK more mileage overall.

Keeping the parry requirement means that for the most part it will not be able to be used as OT which greatly reduces its raid utility especially when compared to WAR's SE which just comes off a combo finisher and can be applied as an OT.
That is why people want the parry requirement taken off. -

As when i read it it seemed like you wanted it to be a sort of passive-active skill that took effect every time you parry and was on GCD. which would mean every time you parry your GCD would activate which could severely hurt your combos if the GCD goes off at a bad moment...Quote:
