Game not launching on MAC

Hello, I purchased the mac version last night. I installed it into my application folder. The installation completes. After that When I launch the game, It says Verifying "Final Fantasy XIV" then that tab disappears and nothing happens.

Under the activity monitor (My processes) Final Fantasy is displayed but consuming 0 CPU memory energy etc..

If i try to run the game again it says it is already running. But its not even launching for me. I tried to re-install the game but to no avail.

Does anyone have any idea of how I can resolve this matter?

If you search on the forums, someone posted a command line entry you can execute to disable it for FFXIV specifically.

I did a quick search of "Disable gatekeeper" and found 2 non related threads. Do you by anychance remember the title of the thread? or how I can find it?
