Downloaded FF14 HW for MAC but app won't open!

So, I purchased FF14 Heavensward (the MAC version) and downloaded it today (it took 3 hours). I opened the downloaded file, it loaded to my MAC, a screen popped up where I had to drag the app to the apps folder. Then I got a pop up screen showing the loading results of FF14 being moved to my apps folder, after that it appeared in my apps folder. I double clicked on the FF14 app and a screen popped up showing that it was being "verified". After it finished verifying the message window went away. So, I double clicked on the app image... nothing happened. I right clicked on the app image and selected "open"... nothing happened! I restarted my iMac (3 times) and nothing happened. I redownloaded the darn game (3 times) and it still won't open! Someone please helpppppppppp. This is ridiculous!
