Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've so far gotten rainbow gear and at level 54. But I still can't get these HQ Ice Picks. I sit at the correct location but no matter what the fish gets away.

Should I not have the collectors buff on while I'm doing this or do I need to get some materia in this gear lol?
you should not have collector's on, since ice pick's are collectable, and you want non collectable ice picks.
your gear should be fine with what you have now, patience is a helpful ability
This fish can be found in two spots... You want South Banepool to fish it from as it seems to be better... and without the collect buff.
