Can we get some clarification on Beastmen Strongholds?

Are these tuned as an actual raid encounter or something fun to do with a group while grinding? Are the endboss NM's on a 5 minute timer so people just sit there and claim it as it respawns once you're through all the defenses?

Inquiring minds want to know.

These are open world content that have more enemies depending on how many players are in the vicinity.

Respawn timers on NMs seem to be directly proportional to the power and usefulness of the item. If you need it for a job's grinding, you can usually grab a friend or two and just have at it's instant repops until a drop procs. It takes just as long to get an item as it did in FFXI, since the rates are so low, but at least you have a liiiittle chance of getting it every time and you're not just standing around playing pocket pool and watching anime until the timer comes back around.

End boss of enemy stronghold? Rank 50+ and takes a party to kill? Probably going to have some conditions.

All I know is, it will help to have a JP player in your LS to claim NMs. They haven't addressed the regional delays. Just sayin'

Bro I would camp items in FFXI for weeks and still not get it. You can't even compare the two. FFXIV takes a couple hours at best to get whatever items you want from NM's. Aside from maybe a couple pieces like Seer's Cowl (now obselete) the loot isn't comparable either. When you got certain items like emp hairpin and leaping boots they were useful across alot of jobs upwards to lvl75.

Either way I hope there's some reset to the strongholds so we don't have people that just run in and trail behind others to outclaim the NM at the end.
