Post 50 potions and ethers

I noticed the new tier "draconian" of stat potions that was added in 3.0, but no new tier for healing potions and ethers. Are there any plans to add a higher tier of potions and ethers ? If not, the current cap needs to be increased or removed. I'd prefer removed.

Taking ethers for instance:

• A 60 whm has around 13k mp (rounded)
• X-ether gives 20% capped at 420 (25%/530 for HQ). This would be 2600mp without cap.
• X-ether has 5m recast. 4m30s for HQ.

420, or even 530 mp every 4m30s is meaningless when you have an mp pool of 13k+ that will only go up with new alexander gear. I think we need a new potion tier or remove the cap if not.

Similarly and related--It's now impossible for BLMs to use any MP restorative items to get back enough MP for another cast of Flare in AoE situations. Tweaking Potions and Ethers would be really nice, removing the hardcap on restoration and making it simply a percentage restoration based on tier.

Yea the should add Post lvl 50 ethers/potions i mean astrologian only has 1 mp regeneration skill so i at least want an ether as a backup plan just in case.

These items were already pretty situational, though at least BLMs would consume them regularly for an extra flare in dungeons. Now they seem to have absolutely no purpose in post 50 content. This seems like a pretty glaring oversight or SE just wanted to do away with this sort of item entirely.

In PvP I ue a lot of X-potion, they are really useful, and for the new lv60 Frontline I would like to have some useful potion too, like for other content.
They didn't change your life but they was still useful.

There's also no new potent poisoning potions, something I hope gets fixed. As small a boost as they gave I enjoyed putting in the extra effort.

I think Phoenix Downs should be taken from Unique Item status. They are already limited to not being usable in combat so what's it actually hurting by having a small amount on Hand?

Like in Quarn earlier today, the Healer was being a jack ass and not healing the Tank and refused to rez her too (I puged into the dungeon in the middle of the argument prior to that but it seemed the healer and previous DPS were pulling ahead of the tank). So I tossed the Tank a Phoenix down to keep her from having to walk all the way back. (then because they got on my nerves by being an ass about me resizing them the three on one vote kick sent them packing)

Long story short though, If I have to wait till the fight is over, which means either we survived by the skin of our teeth or wiped it, then why can't I carry more than one? It makes no since. If it's going to be a Unique Item it needs to be useable in battle. Other than that it needs the Unique status removed.
