Personally, prior 3.0, the only smn and sch macros I've been using are
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <tt>
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <t>
Smn 3.0, I've made a /hotbar change macro on a key to toggle between 2 hotbars, one for normal stance, one for dreadwyre trance.
I was combing the hotbar change macro with the actual dreadwyre trance and deathflare, but I can't spam the key or queue the skills if they are macro, therefore I've made separate hotbar change macro. The toggle works much better now.
I have this macro on hotbar 1, to toggle to hotbar 4, which has the ruin3 replacing ruin1 and deathflare replacing dreadwyre trance.
/hotbar change 4
Once the hotbar is changed to 4, I have this macro
/hotbar change 1
on the same key, therefore pressing the button again will toggle back to hotbar 1.
I have this button bound to a mouse button so it is very quick and easy to toggle between the hotbars.
As for sch, I personally use <mo> macro but I know a lot of people detest this.
Mouse over macros so you dont need to keep tabing around to put dots up,
/ac "Bio II" <mo>
/ac "Miasma" <mo>
/ac "Physick" <mo>
in any game, dealing with a class that uses dots, it is alot easier to just mouse over adds to dot while still staying on your main target to nuke,
you can pretty much use mouseovers for everything, for nin I use mo's for goad only, and later shade walker enmity transfer buff to tank.
I hope this helps, if you dont use mo's sometimes you may tab to the same target or just a target you dont want, however since you aren't main targeting them you will need to memorize your debuff durations.
nice work
Changing bar seems being the only solution to replace macro by another :/
We can now change each spell with (/hotbar action "action name" # #) but it cant work when we wan't to place a macro.
i currenlty use basic spam macro
/micon "Dreadwyrm transe"
/ac "deathflare"
/ac "Dreadwyrm transe"
/wait 1
/ac "Dreadwyrm transe"
but i really hate the queue problem and i not liking the /wait 1 fix
Don't you have queue probleme by using so much macro action ?
The only macro i use for SMN is /ac eye for an eye <tt>
and for SCH i use a macro with a dps skill and a <tt> embrace to keep healing on the tank while i dps
