No new recovery pots?

X-Potions/Ethers are terrible late-game right now. Recovering 500 HP is useless, recovering 500 MP is barely noticable. I thought that changes would be made in expansion so that these potions would have no recovery cap but it seems I was wrong.

Has anything been confirmed that I don't know about, or is SE keeping these the way they are now?

I guess even SE realised how useless all teh potions are and just opted not to bother with them. For now anyway, they might be cooking up a complete overhaul of them behind the scenes for all we know.

I have a feeling these Pots will either be updated to scale accordingly or add new pots to make up the difference. I don't believe they would just leave out something like that, especially being a crafter specialization, for too long. Can we get a mod to look into this?

Potions are hardly useless. Especially x pots and potent poisoning pots for dps can help your dps a lot.

Useless? I used them all the time. From INT potions, to MP potions to kick out a spare flare. This is what separates the average player from a great player. Well that and a number of other things, but with how high our MP is now, 400 mp isn't enough to do anything. :(

Sorry, but with the level cap raised, potions fell behind. Healing and MP recovering potions didn't scale so now they heal for a pitiful amount. Potent potions that cause debuffs don't work on any monster beyond level 50. The only potions with any remote sense of use are ones that boosts your stats for a few seconds, but there's not many raids right now that would encourage it and you can't even pop another pot after the first until a minute or so later.

Yeah, yeah, I'm an awful player, whatever. I don't do raids. I'm terribly sorry. And I don't see the point of 15s potions with open-world or common dungeon mobs that we are overgeared for anyway - especially as a mage who has enough trouble casting dodging all the AoEs all the time anyway. X potions can't make enough mana for a proper spell and enemies hit harder than the amount of HP they recover. In short: useless. The ones that drop in my inventory? Keep piling up because I never find myself in a situation where I actually could use them in any meaningful way.

Looks like someone took offense to some factual comments. No one ever said you were an awful player, your just not better than the man that pops raging strikes, and also pops an INT 80+ potion to burn down a boss faster to deal with less mechanics, or to pick up the slack when another dps dies. Example of how some people in the community can be so defensive. You were just told some valuable info to make you hit harder, but you right it off as us saying you are a sorry player, and then end with a comment to say again that potions and pots are useless...

I use pots all the time. They arnt useless....
